Yes– those Ragama days in the Pediatric ward were good days , we learned a lot, and you ended up being a Pediatrician along with Ranjith Silva, where all three of us + Anselm, and Ben were together doing Peds !
We have a come a long way since then .
Love to recall my visit to Vero Beach , again, along with Ranjith and Shanthi some 30 yrs ago !
Glad we were able to meet at Beruwala , in 2014, and lets hope we meet again m for one last kick at the can !

OMG– Those S Gp students ! – we sure know how to have fun — The Back Row Noise Makers.
But, both of you were the ‘quiet ones ‘ !- the ‘goody goody ones ‘ !!
We have all come a long, long way since those fun filled S gp Days !.
On the 13th — what I did was you wouldn’t believe it .– I attended Drum Circle , with a few members, in the back yard of another member, and then I went on a solo hike in the woods nearby , that runs by a very lovely river .
Believe it or not — I just wanted to be alone – with Nature–
– See the Trees in all their Fall Color Glory, –
– Hear the Wind,
-Listen to the Birds ,
– Smell the Earth after a night of rain ,
– Listen to the water rolling, waves crashing on the shore line at home —
This is what I call Soul Food .. and They All Filled my Soul , and I was Content .
Somehow, this is what I wanted that day .
The day before my son paid me a surprise visit , on his motor bike , and this was THE Birthday Gift– these hard Covid Days , as he lives a hundred miles away from me .
I did not allow Covid to Control my Inner Life – I went ‘ Inward ‘ and Listened to “The Little Person ” , that Lives within ALL of us —
THIS kept my Sanity . Of course, Living in Rural Ontario, has its benefits- and sometimes, Covid seemed a million miles away .
But, the ONLY fly in the ointment was that I was ‘stuck ‘ in Canada – NO Srilanka, as I spent Oct 13 – in 2014, 2018 and 2019 in SL –with great memories of Beruwala Class Gatherings .
Had great plans for October 13th 2020 and beyond …
NO Arizona for winter 2021, and now, in 2022 .
Perhaps I can still dream of 2022 October 13th Srilanka
-Never Give Up – Keep the Dream !

Believe it or not — I just wanted to be alone – with Nature–
– See the Trees in all their Fall Color Glory, –
– Hear the Wind,
-Listen to the Birds ,
– Smell the Earth after a night of rain ,
– Listen to the water rolling, waves crashing on the shore line at home —
This is what I call Soul Food .. and They All Filled my Soul , and I was Content .
Somehow, this is what I wanted that day .
The day before my son paid me a surprise visit , on his motor bike , and this was THE Birthday Gift– these hard Covid Days , as he lives a hundred miles away from me .
I did not allow Covid to Control my Inner Life – I went ‘ Inward ‘ and Listened to “The Little Person ” , that Lives within ALL of us —
THIS kept my Sanity . Of course, Living in Rural Ontario, has its benefits- and sometimes, Covid seemed a million miles away .
But, the ONLY fly in the ointment was that I was ‘stuck ‘ in Canada – NO Srilanka, as I spent Oct 13 – in 2014, 2018 and 2019 in SL –with great memories of Beruwala Class Gatherings .
Had great plans for October 13th 2020 and beyond …
NO Arizona for winter 2021, and now, in 2022 .
Perhaps I can still dream of 2022 October 13th Srilanka
-Never Give Up – Keep the Dream !
