Dear Seelan , Ariya ,Paul , Satha, Selvi ,C J , David, Indragee , Manel and Ranjit Ale , thank you very much for the birthday greetings and wishes.
Last weekend was a long weekend and all my kids , grandkids and SILS ( sons in law ) were here to celebrate my birthday on a grand scale with Piching and I. The celebrations went on for three days ,Friday Saturday and Sunday. Today will be a more quiet celebration.

Happy Birthday to you and I am sure Piching made a GREAT FEAST to celebrate the event, that went on for three days !!
Wow- -I can only imagine the Spread and The Taste and All the Fun with the family !!
It is a good thing that the covid gathering rules were somewhat relaxed – just for you, just in good time .
Make sure you send me a ‘family photo ” as I know your three lovely daughters and recall the first visit you all made to my place , in that big huge camper, back in the early 80’s , when they were really little .
Also, I know all of Piching siblings, ( seven of them I think, with 4 girls, 3 boys ) and both parents , as I used to visit them, in SL , before I left SL and even after , when ever I would visit to see my own parents, living in Mt Lav – Ratmalana , back in the 90’s .
It is only when I see our kids all grown now with their own families, that I ‘feel old ‘ !– so, there is this Mantra in my head that says, — ” Enjoy- Enjoy – Make The Best of What is left out of your Life ‘ —
How wonderful that you and your family did Just that !
Have a Quiet Birthday day today , after all that hectic 3 days of non stop partying !

It is about time all you folks in our batch showed me some respect as the oldest living batch mate. Just kidding. Our comradery is worth more than anything else.

It is incredible, you are an Octagenarian.You of course look much younger, maybe 60 at best.
Tell us your secret.I am sure Piching has a big role in it.
You have been a great friend since 1964.A fellow Jeevakite with halcyon days at Jeevaka and amazing times since, in the USA.
