Wish you a Very Happy Birthday . Enjoy this day with lovely Aruns and the rest of the family, if you all can get together in Vero Beach , Florida .
I have such good , happy memories of you Asoka,– My Co House Officer at Ragama- in Pediatrics , along with Ben Rajapkse , Ahnainmugan , Anslem, Ranjith Silva .
Also- -the fun times I had at your place in Vero Beach , when I did that trip out there, and stayed with you and Ranjith , and the most generous hospitality extended to me by you, Arun , Ranjith and Shanthi, during that stay back in 1993 I think it was .
Never really forget that marathon baila session we did at Bentota Beach Hotel !!! , back in 1994– and we both ended up into the final round- and you just about collapsed on the dance floor- trying to keep pace with me , and you never did another session like that with me ever !
It was soooo good seeing both of you at Beruwala ( 2014 ) . Very unlikely we will meet again…
Aruns– I hope you are still continuing to do your lovely art works
I wish you and Aruns , and your children , All The Very Best in Life .

So nice of you to remember my birthday.As I wrote to Deepthie we had a great time at Ragama. You loved OB and I didn’t enjoy it.I Loved Pediatrics. Incidentally I heard that Dr Aiyadurai our boss commuted suicide.
Your Kelaniya friend is doing fine.

I am also a ” Keleniya City Mate ‘ – remember the time when you, me and Anslem were together in Std 4 at St Pauls School in Keleniya back in 1952 , and Anslem’s mother was our English teacher ?
Aruns was also in our class, and she recognised me from photo I sent Asoka, with Anslem and others in 1991 taken in Australia.
— When Asoka said – ‘ this is Deepthie ” — Aruns says- let me see, there was a Deepthie in my class back in 1952 at St Paul’s School ‘ !
Well I guess this seems to tell me that I had not changed since she last saw me when I was just 9 yrs old !!!
Anyway- -a bit of old trivia from the old Keleniya days .
