  1. Thanks for sharing this article Seelan. What a dedicated scientist and a Sri Lankan too. With talented scientist like her hopefully we might find a vaccine soon for Covid-19 and also future pandemics that may appear in this world.

  2. Thanks Seelan for sharing the interesting article about Raina. We see her on the media regularly since the breakout of Corona virus.
Ghandhi took part in a SL play 2 years ago titled Counting and Cracking in Sydney and ADELAIDE. Lots from Sydney came to ADELAIDE to see the play as the tickets in Sydney got sold out. Fantastic show

  3. Thanks for sharing Seelan. Her mother, Nalini was Nirmali’s teacher at Ladies’ College where she later became Vice Principal. Her father , Earnest was a famous stage director. We were the last bid farewell to them as they were leaving their home at Ladies’ College to go to the airport to emplane for Australia.
Proud of a famous Sri Lankan

I have never met her but I meet Gandhi MacIntyre now & then. He was a school mate at Jaffna Central – senior to me.
