  2. Dear Kum,
Many happy returns of the day and best wishes for contentment and good health to you and Leela. You set the tone in organizing a batch get together in 1989 and together with Praxy even collected sufficient funds for us to have one in Sri Lanka for those in SL who could not come to U.K. I was fortunate to be in England athat time for a conference and you readily accommodated me
Thanks for all you have done for us.

  3. Dear Kum,
It is my great pleasure to wish you a very happy birthday. With a friendship going back to school days at St. Thomas’, proceeding through Medical College and Bloem and after getting ‘lost’ for a few years until a chance meeting in Birmingham and then a very close relationship when you became the trail blazer for Batch Reunions, going through extremely difficult and traumatic personal times and with Leela and Daya having such a close relationship from their nurse training days – these memories come to mind at times like this especially now that we are in the twilight of our lives. The last get together at Penang was brilliant I hope we get another opportunity to meet and have some ‘yellow water’ again.
I wish both you and Leela a wonderful day and of course the best of health and happiness for the rest of this year and for years to come. I am sure that Daya would be wishing you the same from wherever she is.
    Love and blessings,
    CJ

  8. Hello Kum,
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday. We re-call our times we stayed with you & Leela, just after our First Re-Union in U.K. ,that you spearheaded. We were registered & payed up to attend occasion, when we had to cancel everything a few days before. But we did it about a few months before, & you two treated us “Like the Royals”!!!., along with C.J & Daya. Our kids ,who are now grown up as adults, still remember Uncle Kum & Aunty Leela, with affection. Thank you for being a great human being & a wonderful friend. Wish you many more great birthdays to come. Love to Leela.
