Thanks Sam for the post.I I remember very well when the movie cart came along every week. The drumming always reminded you that a new movie was on a Thursday.I was always interested in the new English language movies which were shown only once a week.Great “ old westerns” in black and white. It was difficult to convince Mum that the movie was OK for young boys and then with Rs2.20 for a ticket, I would be able to share and take a few of my good friends to the Gallery seats which were only 55 cents each.We would return home with plenty of bed bug bites.Never told Mum that we were in the gallery. The westerns were so great that the bugs were not a deterrent.Great memories of times past.

I agree these were great memories. I notice two models with headgear standing on the roof of the bullock cart as well!
Thanks for the comment
