It was a real Fun Day- for the three of us .
I drove to Rajes’ place , a 2 hr drive from where I live, and then went to
see Lakshi at her brother’s place – not too far away .
We were treated to real first class home cooked pure vegetarian Brahmin
Meal , cooked with sooo much tender loving care !
We spent about 4 hrs with her and returned and then did some ‘indian
shopping ‘ and got some ‘ Leela Products and ‘ Niru Products ” !. – to
support the Class of 64 ,far away from SL .
Enjoy the picture story !

Thanks Sam, for posting the pics of the fun time that Rajes and my self had with Lakshi .
Thanks to all — Seelan- the Tall Barbie- and the Short Barbie- we both loved the Pretty Barbie between us .
Ariya- you may have not seen Rajes and Lakshi in 50 yrs – but they are still the same sweet ones you knew back then .
yes- Rajes had not seen Lakshi in 50 yrs- I saw her in Melbourne backin 1991 at Mahen’s place .
Wimal- we were all Ragama Interns ! and Lakshi did recall, how between her baby daughter and my baby daughter, we had only one baby cot in my room- and both babies shared it !
This I thought was a very touching way to recall good friendships going into the next generation , even as far back as 1970 !!
I sent the pic to Shiranci too- the other person who shared the room with me, and was the ‘ loving aunty’ to both babies .
Being a nice sunny day- I was happy to have at least one photo outdoors ,while the other, I put the camera on the timer, placed it on the dining table and took the pic.
Love the one in the kitchen- MD Tea Time !!
Thanks to all- Nisatha, Rani and Praxy, for your nice comments .
